ADERC is a Canadian charity operated exclusively for charitable and philanthropic purposes. Its capital or resources shall not be used to the benefit of or distributed to any of its members or directors.

Any member acting in the name of the ADERC will do it with Honesty, Integrity, and Compassion.

ADERC is a non-political organization operating within the framework of the laws of the countries in which it has activities. No part of its activities and resources shall be used directly or indirectly for any political purpose, nor shall ADERC in any manner or to any extent participate in or intervene in any political campaign (including the publication or distribution of statements) on behalf of any political party, candidate, or propaganda.

ADERC empowers communities to help themselves and encourages them   to take ownership of the projects to ensure their sustainability.
